Through improved training, capacity building, and innovation support, the initiative addresses the growing challenge of construction and demolition waste and promotes sustainable development in the sector.
GROW brings together a diverse and highly complementary group of partners united by a shared commitment to sustainable construction, skills development, and green job creation across Sub-Saharan Africa. The consortium includes leading TVET institutions, construction sector experts, innovation-driven organisations, and government-linked bodies from Nigeria, Mozambique, and Europe. Each partner contributes specialised expertise—from curriculum development, vocational training, and gender-inclusive education to circular economy solutions, industry engagement, and policy support.
